I am a musician, primarily playing fiddle, mandolin and guitar, as well as an experienced recording and mixing audio engineer. I hail originally from Tacoma, Washington, then from Colorado by way of a long residency in Tucson and Oracle, AZ. I am now located in Stoughton, Wisconsin near Madison.I have always had a difficult time trying to classify my musical style by genre. It includes elements of bluegrass, Celtic, acoustic instrumentals, and some swing and other improvisational elements thrown in the mix. This hybrid style I call \"barn jazz\".  Lately I have been writing and producing ballads and country rock songs and instrumentals.Along the way I have played in many bands from Tucson to Denver, mainly as a lead sideman on violin.
