Amy Stacey Curtis - Restrung (CD)

The 2025 winner of Maine's Got Talent, Amy learns five songs weekly on her ukulele, a self-prescribed music therapy after a brain injury caused by Lyme disease she didn't know she had. Restrung is follower-requested and -titled, inspired by how Amy Stacey Curtis "restrung" her brain with the ukulele and restrung the cover songs she sings. 

This 12-track cover album is home-recorded and produced by Amy, with featured songs including those by AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, Cyndi Lauper, Heart, Billy Idol, The Cars, Alice in Chains, The Smiths, and Prince. Amy performs all the songs herself (vocals, ukulele, and in one song, a brass glockenspiel), except for "Cruel Summer" by Bananarama, which features bass and keyboard by Joe Sweeney and violin by Vanessa Jones.
