Apostolos Nikolaidis - Gi’ Afto Ke Zo (CD)

Recorded in Athens in the mid-1990s, Gi’ Afto kai Zo (The Reason I Live) brings together 11 previously unreleased performances by Apostolos Nikolaidis, with music and arrangements by Dimitris Milios. Shelved before its planned release, the album remained unheard until 2005, when Nikolaidis’ daughter Maria gathered and remastered the recordings and released them through Marilou Records, preserving a late chapter in the career of one of Greek laika music’s most distinctive voices.
