This album contains Carla's signature mix of traditional and original Appalachian Music, with traditional ballads like "Blackjack Davy" and "Devilish Mary" alongside original pieces like "Never Lost" and "Happy Neverending". She shows her stylistic range with covers like the dreamy "Easy To Be Free", Fats Waller's "Have a Little Dream on Me" and Iris Dement's "Hotter Than Mojave in My Heart."
