The year is 1999. December 2-11. Beloved legendary singer, Carole Fredericks
takes to the stage at Saint-Germain-des-Prés Auditorium in Paris. Alain Pinqouin
Regis bellows her arrival…and arrive she did! Surrounded by friends and music
collaborators - Jean-Jacques Goldman, Faudel, Allan Théo, Bruno Pelletier,
Michael Jones, Jacques Veneruso, Gildas Arzel and Kani Curry of Poétic Lover -
Carole Fredericks effortlessly delivers R&B, Pop, Rock and the Blues in both
English and French. Carole and the musicians moved with ease from one genre to
another. She held nothing back and gave band members a license to do the same.
Jean Marc Haroutiounian/bass guitar, Manu Guerrero/acoustic piano, Cyril
Tarquiny/guitar, Laurent Coppola/drums did not hesitate to respond in kind as
background vocalist Nicole Amovin, Joelle Esso, Yvonne Jones and Maria
Popkiewicz brought vocal spice to each song. No two shows were the same. Each
night, Carole chatted with the musicians and singers on stage making the
performance an intimate affair, and the song a personal message to the audience.
