Ecthirion - King Of Wormwood (CD)

Formed in 2008, Ecthirion have released both their debut “Apocalyptic Visions” (2009) and sophomore “Psalms Of The Risen Dead” (2018) on Soundmass. Like these preceding releases, the new Ecthirion album – “King Of Wormwood” – has taken time to realise, with the earliest elements of it having been created in 2014. However, with busy, shifting lives and time passing by, the band decided to bite the bullet and release the album, rather than it lying dormant for years to come. So what you’re getting is a slightly rawer demo Ecthirion as they jot down their ideas into audio form. Yes, the results are a little humbler, but nonetheless still wonderful.
