There have been many great guitarists over the centuries who were also great composers. Many of them were teachers who wrote method books that other guitarist could learn from, and many of those books are still in use today. Part of their genius lies in the fact that they could compose pieces for students that are short, sweet, and very, musical. This album was made as a tribute to such composers as Carcassi, Giuliani, Aguado, Sor, Tarraga and many others.
