Jodi Hild - The Last Call (CD)

The Last Call Review:

This CD was purchased for me as a gift. After listening to it this is what I found: 

The first track (The Last Call) is a dramatic play. I found the track to have a touching vocal performance, music, suspense, and awesome sound effects -- Hearing it on a CD was like being in a movie theater.  As the scenes unfolded, I was astounded by what happened next. There were things that I didn't see coming. This play is contemplative, emotional, heartbreaking and dramatic in nature. You will need to have a box of Kleenex handy.

The second track (In the Eyes of Grace) is an inspiring presentation of the gospel message laid out in a dramatic fashion. I felt the vocal reading to be eloquently spoken and accompanied by beautiful music with cinematic sound effects. This track has a very deep message. There is a twist at the end that left me thinking for a long time afterwards.

The third track (Special Message) is a compelling short sermon, spoken by Pastor John MacArthur. Pastor John gives a comforting talk in a gentle and loving manner. John ends his message with a beautiful prayer of grace and forgiveness-It was very moving.

Track 4 (Amazing Grace) is a beautiful song with an R&B flair. I was touched by Jodi's style and heart of worship.

The Last Track (In the Eyes of Grace Scripture References) goes along with track two. It is a track containing Bible references put to beautiful piano music, along with soothing sounds of nature. I like this track because it comes in handy if I need to know where in the Bible the scriptures that were used in track two can be found.

Overall, this CD is comforting and thought provoking. After listening to it I had the feeling of hope and comfort. I would have to give it 5 stars.

Jodi Hild is a Singer, Songwriter, Worship Leader and Playwright, with a passionate heart for God. Jodi was raised in Orange County, California. She obtained her Doctorate degree in Nutrition in 1990. Jodi has authored several health books, and has given lectures on radio and television.  

Jodi has found a way to combine her gift of music with evangelism. Jodi authored the stage play "The Last Call" in 2017. All of Jodi's songs and writings have a strong Biblical message. Sharing the gospel message has always been one of her highest priorities. It is Jodi's prayer, that the message on this album is well received, and that it brings many souls to the knowledge and true saving faith of Jesus Christ.
