The album opens with a special guest appearance by Grammy-winning blues legend Joe Louis Walker. The record includes two original songs—the title track "The Blues Is In The House" and "Gotta Hear the Blues"—both written by Grammy-winning songwriter Terry Abrahamson and his collaborator Derrick Procell. The album also features an original Kapsalis composition, "Love Hangover.”
