Robert J Kelly - Think Twice (CD)

My creative process begins with the music, using acoustic guitar and/or a workstation. With a subject in mind, I freestyle nearly all the lyrics in a single take, often up to four minutes long. I’m fascinated by the mind’s ability to tap into the subconscious, allowing lyrics to emerge spontaneously. I then collaborate with JK Harrison, who adds guitars, keyboards, vocals, and percussion. Paul Von Mertens on saxophone and flute, Jack Kelly on drums, and Brett Simons on bass, to complete the band bringing it to another level.
