Scars of Life - Another Tomorrow (CD)

Recorded at the height of their rise in the South Florida scene, Another Tomorrow captures Scars of Life in the year between breaking out locally and signing to Rock Ridge Music. It’s heavy, melodic metal built on big riffs, real emotion and hooks that stick. The band came into 2003 with momentum: their self-released debut Mute had earned strong regional reviews and radio play, 94.9 WZTA named them South Florida’s #1 unsigned band for 2002, and they placed second in the nationwide Inside Sessions Recording Contest out of more than 5,000 bands. They’d also played the Locobazooka Tour alongside Sevendust, Filter and Mushroomhead, and their songs were climbing to the top of mp3 .com’s metal charts. Another Tomorrow is the bridge between the raw energy of Mute and the polish of What We Reflect, and a must-have for anyone completing the Scars of Life catalog. Lineup: Kyle Shapiro (vocals), Anthony Parrinello (guitar), Joe Raio (guitar), Jason Rodman (drums), Mike Kennedy (bass).
