Some of these songs were recorded for the "Most Hated Man in Michigan" CD, which was lost in The Brimstone Labs Great Hard Drive crash of 2010. I hadn't heard any of the songs I recorded at that time for 13-15 years.
At some point, I do remember starting to write songs with a certain theme that pretty much came out of nowhere.
At this time, J-Stone was sleeping on my couch on the weekends. He wasn't in good mental space at the time. I let him hear some tracks, and he insisted on jumping on the album. He started writing the "Hate" song.
This entire album was recorded in Lake Orion, Michigan, by Devilrap for The Brimstone Lab in 1 week.
I wanted to use these records to practice, too, and at some point re-record them in a real studio, but my hard drive crashed, and I thought I lost everything forever, but I didn't.
I also don't remember who or where I got this production (Beats) from...lol
I hear a Stir Crazy tag on 1 of them, so there's that also...lol
But to be honest, I was rapping at a very high level around 2008-2010.
