symbols from the driveway - Brilliance in Movement (CD)

Brilliance in Movement explores the idea that understanding rarely arrives while we are standing still. It emerges through movement—through relationships, memory, uncertainty, loss, desire, and the constant process of becoming something different from what we were.

The album moves through alternative rock, atmospheric textures, and darker experimental spaces, allowing songs to unfold rather than forcing them toward easy conclusions. There is beauty here, but it is often found alongside tension and contradiction. Moments of clarity appear and disappear. What seems certain from one perspective changes when viewed from another.

The title Brilliance in Movement reflects that tension. “Brilliance” is not perfection or enlightenment. It is the brief illumination that can occur while something is changing—the instant when we recognize ourselves, another person, or the world differently before everything begins moving again.

For symbols from the driveway, the album becomes less about reaching a destination than noticing what happens along the way.

Sometimes the movement itself is where the meaning lives.
