X-TERRA - The Savior Is Born (CD)

Through the years, various reviews of X-TERRA has compared us musically to hard rock/classic metal bands such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Stryper, Metallica, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. These comparisons, stylistically may be true. Like many bands, we've arrived at venues to play where the room was half the size we thought and we had to "tone down" but still make our hard rock/metal "convincing". From the audience response, we found we didn't do too badly in adapting and we didn't sound like a hard rock band trying to play quietly and not succeeding. So when we had the opportunity to do a full-length Christmas cd. we had to be true to what was in our hearts. This semi-acoustic release is a result of our take on Christmas and it's true meaning, as well as presenting another side of our band. Hope you enjoy it. Bill, Anne & Bob (X-TERRA)
